The First Moment of Every Financial Decision

Calculators are the first moment of the financial decision. They are the point where a customer stops thinking and starts running the numbers.

Every category below is built to be embedded on your site, branded to match, and kept current by the Rate Engine. Click any category to test-drive the calculators yourself. Same interface, same rates, same experience your customers will see on your site.

Frequently Asked Questions

How are Fintactix Calculators licensed?

Fintactix Calculators are licensed by category, on a one, two, or three-year term. Since Calculators are licensed by category, you choose the categories that align with the products you actively sell. The eleven categories are Auto, Mortgage, Home Equity, Savings, Retirement, Debt, Budget, Insurance, Business Finance, Business Management, and Business Marketing. You can license any combination of these categories on any of the three available term lengths.

Pricing is based on the asset size of your institution, with discounts that increase with the number of categories licensed and the length of the term. A single category on a one-year term is a meaningfully different commitment than five categories on a multi-year term. Please complete the Schedule an Online Meeting form and we can provide a Financial Calculators proposal sized to your institution.

How do these get on our site?

Each Fintactix Calculator is a single line of HTML iframe code that drops into any page on your website. There is no backend integration, no plugin to install, and no template changes required. Your CMS does not need to know what a Fintactix Calculator is. As far as your website is concerned, it is just an embedded iframe.

After contract signing, your branding is configured (covered in the next FAQ) and embed codes are provided for each Calculator in the categories you have licensed. Your team places those codes on the appropriate pages of your site, often Calculator landing pages or product pages where the Calculator is contextually relevant. The Calculators are hosted by Fintactix in a SOC-audited data center, and we provide third-party iframe-resizer code so each Calculator adjusts its height to its content automatically. Your IT team's involvement is typically limited to placing the embed codes and confirming the result looks correct.

How are the Calculators branded to our site?

Colors, fonts, and call-to-action text are configurable per client. We work from your brand guidelines or directly from your live site's CSS to match the look and feel of the Calculators to your existing pages. The result reads as a native part of your site rather than a third-party widget. If your brand evolves later, the styling is updated without requiring you to replace embed codes or redeploy anything.

Calls to Action inside each Calculator can be configured to link to your online applications, rate and product pages, branch locator, or contact forms. That turns each Calculator into an entry point to the next step in your sales process rather than a dead-end calculation. A Mortgage Payment Calculator might link to your mortgage application; a Vehicle Loan Calculator to your auto loan rate sheet; a Retirement Savings Calculator to your wealth management contact form. The CTA destinations are yours to define and easy to update as your campaigns and offers change.

What is the Rate Engine?

The Rate Engine is the system that keeps rates current inside every Fintactix Calculator. It fetches scheduled JSON rate feeds from configured sources and injects the appropriate rates into Calculator fields automatically, so your customers always see fresh numbers without your team manually updating anything. Rates update on a daily cadence, with no intervention required from your side once the configuration is in place.

Fintactix maintains default daily rate feeds for mortgage, auto, home equity, savings, debt, and business finance categories. You can override any default with your own rates if you prefer to publish your actual product rates rather than market averages. Both options can run simultaneously: default feeds for the categories where market-average rates are appropriate, and your own published rates for the categories where you want the Calculator showing what a customer would actually get if they applied. The Rate Engine handles either case without any code change on your side.

How are these different from Financial Navigators?

Calculators and Navigators serve different moments in the customer's decision process. Calculators are interactive financial tools customers use early in their decision, when they are exploring options and running scenarios. A typical Calculator session is 30 seconds to 2 minutes, focused on a single question like "what would my monthly payment be?" or "how much do I need to save?"

Navigators are guided decision experiences for customers who are further along and ready to commit. A Navigator walks the customer through a multi-step flow that captures prequalification details and routes a qualified lead to your team. A typical Navigator session is 5 to 15 minutes and produces a contact-ready borrower profile rather than just an answer to a calculation.

Calculators and Navigators are designed to work together. Calculators capture early-stage interest across the full product set, and Navigators take over for the products where qualified leads are the priority. The Mortgage Calculators pair with the Mortgage Loan Navigator. The Auto Calculators pair with the Vehicle Loan Navigator. The Home Equity Calculators pair with the Home Equity Navigator. The Calculators do the early engagement work, and the Navigators convert that interest into leads. For more on Navigators, visit the Navigator Showcase.

Do you work with digital agencies?

Yes. Many Fintactix engagements come to us through digital agencies, and we share the economics of those engagements through a formal Partner Program. Agencies that introduce a new prospect can earn a 10% referral fee on the initial license value. Agencies that license Fintactix on behalf of their clients can keep 15% reseller margin on every contract year, including renewals.

The Partner Program also includes deal registration with 90-day protection windows (so agencies that bring a deal don't lose it to a competing introduction), an RFP language pack agencies can use directly in proposals, and ongoing support from our team for partner-led engagements. The structure is designed so agencies can either bring us a prospect and step back (referral) or own the client relationship and economics directly (reseller), depending on what fits each engagement.
